- Specifying a Document Color and Pattern or Blend

- In addition to specifying colors for graphs, objects, and text, you can also specify a color and pattern or a color blend for a graph document.

- Specifying a Color and Pattern

- Step 1
- Choose Document Color from the View menu.

- Step 2
- In the Document Color dialog, select foreground and background colors and a fill pattern from the pop-up palettes.

- Click the Show button to preview your selections, then click OK.

- Specifying a Color Blend

- Step 1
- Choose Document Color from the View menu.

- Step 2
- In the Document Color dialog, choose Blend from the pop-up menu under Fill Type.

- Select blend starting and ending colors from the Start Color and End Color pop-up palettes.

- Choose a style (Linear or Radial) from the Style pop-up menu.

- Choose a step (Constant or Log) from the Step pop-up menu to determine color progression from the blend's starting color to its ending color.

- Choose a transition percentage from the Transition pop-up menu.

- For a linear blend, do one of the following to specify a blend angle:

- • Choose an angle from the Angle pop-up menu.

- • Enter an angle value in the space provided.

- Step 8
- For a radial blend, do one of the following to specify the blend's offset from the upper-left corner of the graph document:

- • Choose values from the Horizontal and Vertical pop-up menus.

- • Enter horizontal and vertical values in the spaces provided.

- Click the Show button to preview your selections, then click OK.
